What is Barion?
Barion is an electronic payment service that allows you to pay conveniently and securely by credit card or prepaid balance in our online store.
The service is provided by Barion Pamyent Zrt., which is an e-money issuer under the supervision of the Hungarian National Bank, licence number H-EN-I-1064/2013.
How can I pay with Barion?
All our credit card payments are processed by Barion, so if you choose to pay by credit card when ordering, you will be redirected to the Barion payment interface. On this payment interface, you do not need to register, you just need to enter your credit card number, expiry date, and the CVC code on the back, as well as a working email address.
You can also register with Barion for free, so you will never have to enter your card number again at any Barion point of sale, just your email address and password to pay. This is not only convenient but also significantly increases your security!
Which credit cards can I pay with?
Can I pay without a credit card?
If you do not have a credit card, you can use your pre-filled Barion balance to pay. You can top up by bank transfer or cash deposit. Your friends and business partners can also send you money. In this case, you can pay from your Barion balance by entering your email address and password.
It's free and it stays free
There is and can be no surcharge for the customer to pay by credit card. Registration and the Barion mobile app, as well as receiving and sending money, are free and will remain so. There is also no monthly fee.
Tracking purchases is easy
With the Barion apps, you can track your purchases, both on the web and mobile. The free Barion wallet instantly displays all your purchases, you can even see what you've bought.
Safety first!
Barion servers are protected by 256-bit SSL encryption from Norton / Symantec / Verisign. Always check that you are entering your credit card details or password on Barion's secure servers before you pay. Your browser will show green if the payment and the owner of the payment page are Barion Payment Inc [HU].
Barion is PCI DSS certified, as required by the credit card companies, and is therefore entitled to process credit card data. The security of Barion servers is designed in accordance with the requirements of the Hungarian National Bank.
